2020 Chevy Silverado Midnight Edition Gets the Off-Road Treatment
The Chevy Silverado Midnight Edition adds some style to this pickup with its darkened elements. The 2020 Silverado 1500 takes the Midnight Edition to a new level with off-road-friendly versions based on the LT Trail Boss and Custom Trail Boss.
The 2020 Silverado Trail Boss with the Midnight Package includes all the off-road goodies the standard Trail Boss models have, including a 2-inch factory lift, Rancho mono-tube off-road shocks, an automatic locking rear differential, skid plates, and black-painted 18-inch wheels wrapped in Goodyear Duratrac off-road tires.
With the midnight Package option box checked, buyers also get black badging, a black grille, black Chevy bow ties, black bumpers, black exhaust tips, and black assist steps. Al this black gets a slight contrast with its red recovery hooks. The LT Trail Boss Midnight Edition boasts a few unique bits, including high-intensity LED headlights with dark bezels and full-curtain signature daytime running lights.
The 2020 Silverado Custom Trail Boss Midnight Edition will boast a standard 5.3-liter V-8 and a six-speed automatic transmission, but buyers can opt for a 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V-8 paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The LT Trail Boss Midnight Edition comes standard with the 6.2-liter V-8 and 10-speed cog-swapper.
